The Examination Cell of DDM College of Pharmacy, Una (HP), works as per the guidelines given by HPTU, Hamirpur (for B.Pharm./M.Pharm.), and HPTSB, Dharamshala (for D.Pharm.). Exams for B.Pharm. and M.Pharm. are conducted under the control of HPTU, Hamirpur.

Exam Process & Evaluation System:
Sessional/Periodic exams/tests are conducted in the Institute as per the Academic Calendar of the program. In addition, faculty members also engage in evaluation processes like quiz, assignment, group discussion and seminar, as per their teaching plan.

Appropriate notices are regularly displayed in the Institute’s Notice Boards about conduct of Sessional/Internal Exams at least one week prior to their commencement.

Faculty members are advised to frame the question papers, and submit the same in hard-copy form in sealed-covers to the Exam Department.

Corrected/evaluated exam papers (answer sheets of students) are shown to the students along with expected model answers, highlighting the appropriate evaluation scheme. Students may discuss with respective faculty members regarding any discrepancies, and the same is corrected as needed.

In case a student is unable to attend the Sessional/Internal exams due to genuine/medical grounds, he/she would be given an opportunity to appear for Make-Up Exams/Tests. The same is applicable to those students securing less than 40% marks in the regular Sessional/Internal exams.

The final process involves combining the scores of (a). sessional/internal exams, (b). other evaluation processes (like quiz etc.), and (c). attendance marks; these are combined togother and a database is maintained in the form of a register. The final marks-list (along with marking split-ups) are displayed on the Insitute’s Notice Boards, making the whole process transparent.
